Our Story
Flourish Schools began in 2019 as a pilot to introduce hot meals into States of Jersey primary schools. The trial was designed to test whether freshly prepared school meals could be delivered safely, consistently and in a way that worked for busy school environments.
The pilot proved successful. It demonstrated that schools, children and families valued a reliable hot meal service, and that it could be delivered at scale with the right systems, people and partnerships in place.
Building on that early work in primary schools, Flourish Schools developed a robust operational model rooted in day to day school life. That experience laid the foundations for our ongoing work in partnership with the Government of Jersey, supporting the delivery of school food services across the Island.
While our scale has grown, our focus has remained the same. Practical delivery, strong relationships and dependable school food that schools can trust.
About Flourish
Our Journey into Secondary Schools
Following the success of the primary school pilot, Flourish Schools began supporting food provision in secondary schools across Jersey. Moving into secondary settings required a different approach. Larger student numbers, shorter service windows and a greater emphasis on choice, speed and consistency all shaped how the service evolved.
Working closely with schools and the Government of Jersey, we developed systems that could cope with high volumes while maintaining food safety, compliance and a positive lunchtime experience for students.
Our secondary school provision focuses on efficient service, clear processes and well trained teams who understand the pressures of a busy school day. The aim is simple. To provide dependable food provision that works for students, staff and schools alike.
This progression from primary to secondary schools reflects our ability to adapt, scale and deliver in partnership, while remaining grounded in practical, on the ground experience.
